Amanda needs her ex-husband’s help, and even though they haven’t seen each other for two years, he can’t refuse her anything.
Finally, he climbed out of the car, taking a few more seconds to survey the neighborhood before he strode up the walk to the front porch.
He looked good. Too good. He was wearing faded denim jeans and a snug navy T-shirt that outlined every muscle. The ache in her chest she thought she’d dealt with two years before gripped her.
So much pain, so many angry words …
